This drink has a sweet citrusy flavour with just a hint of tea in the background. I’ve used Darjeeling tea leaves to prepare this drink. But actually white tea is best for making ice tea.

But if you don’t have white tea then you can also prepare ice tea with Darjeeling or Black tea. But remember do not infuse this Darjeeling or black tea for more than 15 minutes or so otherwise your drink will become too strong

  3. Now pour orange juice, 1tbsp chopped mint leaves, lemon juice and black pepper in black tea.
  4. Put 1 tsp of strawberry crush per glass. This step is optional, as I like different colour layers in my drink that’s why I added it.
  5. Also, put some ice in each glass. Pour some tangy tea over ice. Fill up to the half glass.
  6.  Fill remaining glass with soda or chilled water.
  7. Garnish with mint, lemon or cherry. Serve chilled.

I hate tea but I love citrus. I’ll have to try this since it only has a *hint* of tea flavor. My mother and I are opposites so maybe this will finally be a drink we can both agree on for family gatherings.

  9. This will be a combination of two of my favorites so a yes for me!
