A perfect snack to go with evening tea and you can even have this tasty snack in your breakfast too. Yay!! 😀 Actually this recipe name is Sabudana Khichdi , but I don’t like calling it Khichdi at all :p (Because it’s one of my favourite snack from all time).

Let’s have a look how this tasty snack is made

  • Soak around 500 gm sabudana in water for around 6 hours or until it get soft
  • Then 15 minutes before u’re making this dish spread it on a towel or a cotton cloth so that excess water can be soaked.

  • Then after 15 minutes put this into a vessel and add
  • Some salt to taste
  • red chilli powder- 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon- 1
  • Mix well
  • Dice 2 mediun size potatoes in small rectangular shape and fry it in hot oil
  • On other side crush some groundnuts

  • After that in a deep pot heat some oil and add 1 tablespoon of brown mustard seeds and wait till it pops
  • Then add crushed groundnuts, fried potatoes, and finally our sabudana into this.
  • Mix well


  • Finally garnish it with some freshly chopped coriander.
