Delicious Almond Water Recipe | Indian Style
This almond water recipe holds a very special place as on the occasion of paryushan parv or any other fasting days we “Jains” used to only drink “this drink” and that too only once a day. That is why I thought this drink should exist on my blog.
You can say this almond water recipe is a dilute version of almond milk but extremely delicious. Usually, this almond water is served chilled but you can prepare it from the warm water and serve hot. As per your liking, you can have this drink and adjust the diluteness of the drink according to you. If you want a more liquidy drink you can serve it with more water. For the thicker drink, you add less water and more almond paste to it.
The sugar content of the drink also depends on you. If you are a diet conscious person, then while making this drink you can adjust sugar as per your taste and liking. I’ve prepared the version I like the most. It is an age-old recipe that is been prepared in our homes from ages. Hope you like it.
Hi Pooja, am hearing about the recipe for the first time. Is it like a diluted version of badam kheer? I will take the chilled version of this drink and Thandai over any soft drink 🙂

It is not in any case near to badam kheer. Badam kheer will have rice in it but this recipe purely has badam, water, sugar and spices.
