Hello there!! I’m here with a new viral trend that is Dalgona coffee recipe that the world is now discovering. In an Indian household, this coffee is being prepared from god knows how many decades.
Originally in India, this creamy foam is served with hot milk. But the trending Dalgona coffee is being served with chilled milk and ice. You can find the taste of Dalgona coffee a little bit intimidating but who cares when you’re getting an Instagrammable pic of a crazy trend.
Before moving on to the Dalgona coffee recipe I really really want to share our all-time favourite beaten coffee recipe which is an Indian style hot cappuccino. For that just add a teaspoon of coffee, a tablespoon of sugar and half teaspoon of water in a cup. Now with a spoon whisk or beat the coffee well for around 5-7 minutes or until a thick foam is formed.
Heat a cup of full cream milk and pour into the cup. Pour a tablespoon of whisked or beaten foam over the hot milk and mix well. Our Indian style, authentic cappuccino or beaten coffee is ready.
Let’s see Dalgona Coffee Recipe
- Put instant coffee, granulated sugar and warm water in a bowl or mug.
- Now with an electric beater or whisker or spoon stir very quickly. Scraping the coffee and sugar off the sides of the mug when necessary.
- You know you’ve beaten enough once the “coffee foam” become thick and is completely smooth.
- Mix the beaten coffee either with chilled or hot milk. Depend on your preference. Enjoy!!
I personally like the hot version more. The creamy hot coffee tastes more amazing than any favourite cafe version of yours.
