Healthy Cream Of Spinach Soup | Indian Style

This spinach soup is great for winters to warm our body inside out and there isn’t a better way to add vitamin E, vitamin A, manganese, zinc, iron, and selenium in your diet other than consuming this delicious soup. It’s smooth, creamy, super fresh, and tasty.

To make this Popeye spinach soup thicker I’ve added a little of whole wheat flour into it and for that creamy texture, I’ve added milk. For people who want to prepare a vegan version of this soup can add coconut milk into it instead of milk but only at the end after switching off the flame. Little bites of onion tastes good in the soup that is why sauted onions are used in the preparation.

To increase the health portion of this cream of spinach soup you can cook it in low-fat milk instead of full fat and serve this without a swirl of cream, that is totally optional. Accompany the soup with toasted whole wheat bread and your low-calorie complete meal is ready. You can have it in lunch, dinner, or as a mini meal between lunch and dinner.

To make this healthy cream of spinach soup more filling you can add boiled whole wheat pasta to it. It will taste just as delicious as white sauce spinach pasta and you don’t have to compromise on a health factor too.
