How do you like your masala sweet corn? I like my masala corn to be kept simple. With some lemon juice, butter, salt, and chaat masala in it.
The main point to remember while preparing sweet corn is that always try to use fresh corn. Frozen or canned ones are not good for your health and their taste also don’t come out to be so good.
Another trick I always used to make my sweet corn taste great is while boiling them is to add a teaspoon of sugar in the pressure cooker before boiling them. This step enhances the flavor of corn by adding natural sweetness to it.
I usually don’t drain the water of boiled corn. I add the masala, butter, and lemon juice in the corn and its water as well. The little sweet, tangy and spiced water of masala corn really tastes amazing. You know I like the taste of its water more than the corn itself but it’s totally up to you if you want to drain the water of boiled corn, you can drain it. Some people like it that way.
Now let’s have a look of how to prepare this delicious, sweet and tangy masala corn 🙂
