I know you might be thinking that cucumber really doesn’t have that much of taste, then is the chutney going to taste good. But don’t worry this chutney made from cucumber is packed with flavours even better than your regular staple coriander green chutney.
Also, this delicious chutney is very easy to make and does not require any cooking time like other chutneys. A little chopping and pulsing are required and our tasty chutney is prepared. Even an amateur cook can easily create this one with the simplest of ingredients.
This chutney goes great with anything like cutlets, fritters, samosa, sandwiches and many more. A best staple, instant green chutney recipe in case you don’t have coriander or mint available at your home.

- First of all, you need to peel the cucumber and wash the basil leaves and green chillies properly.
- Then roughly chop the cucumber and put it into mixer grinder along with basil leaves and green chillies.
- Now add the salt, black salt, sugar, cumin seeds and raw mango powder into the mixer grinder as well.
- Pulse it properly and our instant green chutney is ready to serve.
